Two individuals have been arrested for allegedly stealing antiques and rare items worth more than BD200,000, according to the Interior Ministry.
The ministry's General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science added that the items were stolen from a house in Hamad Town.
As soon as the case was filed, police teams began search and investigation operations and collecting evidence, which resulted in the identification and arrest of the suspects, as well as the seizure of the stolen items.
Necessary legal procedures have been taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
