Tankers have been deployed across the kingdom to address rainwater accumulation following heavy downpours over the weekend.
Thundery showers accompanied by strong gusts of wind and lightning, began on Saturday evening and continued late into the night, leading to water buildup in several areas.
Officials confirmed that tankers were dispatched across multiple locations in the Northern, Southern, and Muharraq governorates, including Karranah, Budaiya, Al Maqsha, A’ali, Salmabad, Zallaq, Rayya Highway, Al Muaskar Highway and Al Quds Avenue among others.

In case of emergencies requiring an ambulance, police or firemen, people should contact the Emergency Call Centre at 999.
To report excessive rainfall on main roads, people should call the Works Ministry at 17545544.
In local areas, water accumulation should be reported to the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry at 80008188.
Finally, to report power outage and electrical issues, citizens and residents should call 17515555.
