HIS Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa won the Victorious Ultimate Endurance Challenge, which saw wide participation.
Shaikh Nasser’s participation reflects his continued commitment to supporting sports initiatives aimed at developing young people’s capabilities and enhancing their physical abilities.
The event was attended by SCYS first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa; Supreme Council for Environment vice-president, Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club High Committee member, and SCYS member Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa; and GSA vice-chairman and Bahrain Combat Sports Council chairman Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Nasser secured first place after completing all the physical challenges in one hour 28 minutes 35 seconds, successfully overcoming seven challenges across five rounds to take the top spot with merit.
Yousef Farhan finished second in 1:36:25, followed by Kenny Wallace in third in 1:38:53, Mohamed Al Ghais in fourth in 1:40:23, and Abdullah Salem in fifth in 1:41:34.
Shaikh Nasser affirmed that the Victorious Ultimate Endurance Challenge is one of the distinguished initiatives that has helped instil determination and strengthen values of patience and endurance among participants.
He highlighted the importance of organising such events for their role in building character and developing physical and mental abilities, in light of the high standards and competitive spirit demonstrated during the event.
Shaikh Nasser also commended the excellent organisation, thanking the organising committee for their efforts, and commended all participants, wishing them success.
