The General Staff of Kuwait Army announced that the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team from the Land Force Engineering Corps are handling shrapnel and explosive remnants until 6:00 pm Tuesday. In a statement, the General Stadd affirmed that any explosion sounds heard during tbis period result from disposal operations.
