Global adventurer Dr Singara Vadivel was recently honoured by the Bahrain-based Bharathi Association following his remarkable solo motorcycle expedition around the world.
The event attracted a large gathering of association members, prominent figures from the Tamil community, and well-wishers, all eager to hear from the 58-year-old technologist who has journeyed through 63 countries over the past 25 months.
As part of his ongoing travels, Dr Vadivel arrived in Bahrain on Thursday night during his GCC tour and is expected to continue to his next destination – likely Saudi Arabia – this week.
In an inspiring address at the ceremony, he shared both the challenges and triumphs of his journey, which began in Texas nearly two years ago. He also revealed his plans to cover an additional 60 countries over the next two years, before ultimately concluding his extraordinary expedition back in Texas, where it first began.
