The Civil Defence put out a fire in a multi-storey building in Gudaibiya, and evacuated its residents as a precautionary measure.
One resident was taken to the hospital by the National Ambulance for smoke inhalation.
The fire began in one of the flats, the Interior Ministry stated, but investigations are ongoing to ascertain the cause.
