The all-new Nissan Navara PRO pickup is set for launch in the Middle East and is designed for the region’s unique climate and terrain.
Styled around a ‘Rugged Tech’ concept, it features a bold, muscular exterior that commands attention on and off the road.
A modern, spacious interior makes it an ideal choice for large-scale commercial fleets requiring durability, as well as retail customers seeking a dependable vehicle for family weekend trips.
Y K Almoayyed and Sons, the sole distributor of Nissan vehicles in Bahrain, has welcomed this development as a testament to the brand’s evolving global manufacturing strategy and its growing focus on the region.
The event follows the vehicle’s global reveal, and will coincide with its launch in multiple international markets.
The latest Navara PRO is the first Nissan automobile manufactured in China to be introduced to the Middle East, a significant milestone in the marque’s global strategy.
Under the global Re:Nissan plan, Nissan is intensifying its focus on the Middle East by prioritising large SUVs while exploring high-quality products from China to complement its regional lineup.
The Navara PRO arrives with a legacy of more than two decades in the region, backed by Nissan’s 12 generations of pickup reliability and trust. With two robust ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) variants, the Navara PRO provides a versatile platform that balances the high-volume demands of the commercial fleet sector with the lifestyle expectations of individual owners.
“The Navara PRO combines Nissan’s decades-long history as a pickup leader with the latest advanced powertrain and tech innovations,” Nissan Motor Corporation family, product and component strategy corporate executive Richard Candler noted.
“It will deliver efficient, effortless performance with the quality and intrepid spirit that has been infused in Nissan pickups for nearly 100 years,” he added.
For his part, Nissan AMIEO chairperson Massimiliano Messina said: “The Middle East is a cornerstone of Nissan’s global strategy. The all-new Navara PRO will be a key pillar in our growth ambitions in the region.”
Commenting on the regional significance, divisional vice president and president, Middle East, KSA, CIS and India-Nissan and INFINITI, Thierry Sabbagh said: “By introducing the Navara PRO, we are directly addressing the demand for versatile, rugged, and high-performance pickups. With its deep-rooted legacy in our markets and its reputation for reliability, the vehicle is engineered to excel in our unique environment.”
The Navara PRO launch follows an intensive product offensive by Nissan in the Middle East over the past year. It was spearheaded by the all-new Patrol and its most comprehensive lineup yet, including the region’s first-ever Patrol PRO-4X and the track-inspired Patrol NISMO.
This momentum has also seen Nissan break into new segments with the all-new Magnite. Coupled with the launch of the all-new KICKS, Nissan continues to modernise its portfolio to meet every lifestyle and business need.
