The Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust announced the opening of applications for high school graduates to join its bachelor’s scholarship programmes for the 2026-2027 academic year, from May 3 to 16 via the trust’s website: www.waqfisa.bh.
The scholarships come as part of the trust’s ongoing efforts to support the education sector in the kingdom by empowering young national talent and providing opportunities to continue their academic studies, contributing to the preparation of qualified cadres that support and sustain the kingdom’s development process.
The eligibility criteria require applicants to be Bahraini nationals, of good conduct and behaviour, and either graduates of the current academic year or those who have completed the foundation year within the same year.
Applicants must also meet the admission requirements of the university to which they apply. In addition, applicants must hold a high school certificate or its equivalent from a public or private educational institution, with a minimum cumulative average of 98 per cent for medical programmes, 90pc for engineering specialisations, and 88pc for other disciplines, or their equivalent.
