His Majesty King Hamad issued Decree 26 of 2026 appointing general directors at the Civil Service Bureau, based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
The decree stipulated that:
Article One: Shaikh Muath bin Duaij bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Director General of Organisation and Position Budget at the Civil Service Bureau, shall be appointed Director General of Organisation and Workforce Planning at the same entity.
Article Two: Shaikha Rana bint Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Director General of Human Resources Development and Performance Management at the Civil Service Bureau, shall be appointed Director General of Institutional Efficiency at the same entity.
Article Three: Ali Yousif Ali Al Hammadi, Director General of Recruitment and Information at the Civil Service Bureau, shall be appointed Director General of Human Resources Affairs at the same entity.
Article Four: Mohammed Salman Mohsen Al Aradi, Director General of Shared Human Resources Services at the Civil Service Bureau, shall be appointed Director General of Institutional Services at the same entity.
Article Five: Reem Hassan Hameed Marhoon, Director General of Policies and Wages at the Civil Service Bureau, shall be appointed Director General of Strategies and Policies at the same entity.
Article Six: Abdulrahman Abdulla Abdulaziz Al Shomali, Director of Policy and Regulatory Directorate at the Civil Service Bureau, shall be appointed Director General of Shared Human Resources Services at the same entity.
Article Seven: The Prime Minister shall implement this decree. The decree shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
His Majesty issued Decree 27 of 2026 appointing Assistant Under-Secretaries at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry, based on the proposal of the Transportation and Telecommunications Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
The decree stipulated that:
Article One: Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa shall be appointed Assistant Under-Secretary for Telecommunications at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry.
Article Two: Saud Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayat, Director of Information and Real Estate Development Directorate at the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, shall be appointed Assistant Under-Secretary for Land Transport at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry, succeeding Hussain Ali Hassan Yaqoub.
Article Three: The Transportation and Telecommunications Minister shall implement this decree. The decree shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
His Majesty issued Decree 28 of 2026, adding a member to the board of directors of the General Sports Authority, based on a proposal of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport chairman and following the approval of the Cabinet.
The decree stipulated the following:
Article One: The Under-Secretary of the Finance and National Economy Ministry for Financial Affairs shall be added to the membership of the board of directors of the General Sports Authority. The term of membership shall continue until the end of the current board’s term.
Article Two: The Supreme Council for Youth and Sport chairman shall implement this decree. The decree shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
His Majesty issued Decree 29 of 2026, appointing an Assistant Under-Secretary at the Finance and National Economy Ministry, based on a proposal by the Finance and National Economy Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
The decree stipulated that:
Article One: Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa shall be appointed Assistant Under-Secretary for Co-ordination and Follow-up at the Finance and National Economy Ministry.
Article Two: The Finance and National Economy Minister shall implement this decree. The decree shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
