The parliamentary Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee approved unanimously a request signed by 37 MPs to revoke the membership of three MPs – Abdulnabi Salman, Mamdooh Al Saleh and Mahdi Al Shuwaikh.
The signatories of the request called for the revocation of the MPs’ membership because of adopting a position critical of the deterrent state measures taken against individuals accused of glorifying Iranian attacks against Bahrain.
The parliament is set to vote on the committee’s report in its extraordinary session on Thursday after the postponement of today’s session, according to our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
