VOLLEYBALL – THE semi-finals of the 2025-26 His Royal Highness the Crown Prince’s Cup take place tonight at Isa Bin Rashid Volleyball Arena at Isa Sports City in Riffa.
Holders Muharraq are set to face off with bitter rivals Al Ahli in the late fixture scheduled for an 8.30pm start.
In the earlier contest at 7pm, recently crowned Isa Bin Rashid Bahrain Volleyball League champions Dar Kulaib will be taking on Bani Jamra.
The winners of this evening’s clashes will move on to the championship match, scheduled to be held on Saturday at the same venue at 7pm.
Muharraq booked their tickets to the last four with a three-set win over Al Tadhamun, while Ahli won against Al Najma with a similar score.
Dar Kulaib, on the other hand, swept past A’ali in their quarter-final, while Bani Jamra needed to go five sets against Nabih Saleh.
This year’s His Royal Highness the Crown Prince’s Cup is a knockout competition that began with all 14 teams that are under the umbrella of the Bahrain Volleyball Association. Dar Kulaib and Muharraq were given automatic berths in the quarter-finals after finishing as the league’s top two teams.
Muharraq lifted last season’s trophy following a hard-earned victory in four sets against Dar Kulaib, who this campaign are aiming for a sensational title double after securing the league crown last month.
