Two individuals were found guilty, in two separate cases, of photographing ‘vital establishments’ during the time of Iranian hostilities.
Yesterday, the Lower Criminal Court sentenced one of the suspects to five years in prison and the other to a year in prison, in addition to a BD100 fine.
One of the defendants reportedly published posts on social media that contained videos of important infrastructure, while the other was arrested while he was filming a restricted site.
The video was reported to the Public Prosecution by the Anti-Cybercrimes Directorate. Both defendants were arrested, witnesses were questioned, and they were referred to criminal trial.
