National Guard Commander General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa received the National Guard’s Haj delegation ahead of its departure to Saudi Arabia to perform the annual pilgrimage.
The delegation includes officers, non-commissioned officers and personnel.
The meeting was attended by National Guard Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa.
Gen Shaikh Mohammed conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister.
He wished them success in preforming Haj, stressing the importance of upholding Bahrain’s reputation and strengthening unity and co-operation with fellow pilgrims.
Gen Shaikh Mohammed also commended the extensive efforts of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in facilitating the pilgrimage and ensuring the wellbeing of pilgrims.
