Tributes have been pouring in for a six-year-old student from the Indian School Bahrain who died yesterday.
According to reports, Derrick Joseph Jissmon, a Year Two pupil, fell from a window at his residence a few days ago. He was rushed to Salmaniya Medical Complex and admitted to the intensive care unit, where he succumbed to his injuries yesterday.
Derrick was the only child of his parents, Jissmon and Aksa.
The school expressed its condolences in a message on Instagram, stating: “With profound sorrow, the management, staff and students of the Indian School express their deepest condolences on the sad demise of our beloved student, Derrick Joseph Jissmon of Class II.
May the Almighty bless his soul and grant comfort and strength to his family during this difficult time.”
