Benefit has launched a ‘Scheduled Transfers’ feature on the BenefitPay app, allowing users to automate or set reminders for recurring payments via Fawri and Fawri+.
The update, introduced under Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) directives, enables users to schedule daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly transfers using either mobile numbers or IBANs.
The feature is designed to streamline financial planning by removing the need for manual intervention for routine obligations. Users can choose between full automation or periodic reminders to maintain control over their cash flow.
“Scheduled transfers represents a valuable addition to our ecosystem, giving users greater ability to manage recurring payments with ease,” said Ahmed AlMahri, assistant general manager of business development and services at Benefit.
He added that the initiative aligns with CBB goals to bolster the kingdom’s digital infrastructure and reinforce Bahrain’s position as a regional hub for financial innovation.
