Transportation and Telecommunications Minister and King Hamad Global Centre for Coexistence and Tolerance board of trustees chairman Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received US Ambassador Stephanie Hallett.
Dr Shaikh Abdulla affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to strengthen co-operation and close strategic partnership with the US across various domains, and to enhance co-ordination and the exchange of expertise in a manner that contributes to consolidating the values of tolerance and coexistence, and promotes regional and international peace and security.
On her part, Ambassador Hallett expressed pride in the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, commending the role of the kingdom and the initiatives of the King Hamad Global Centre for Coexistence and Tolerance in spreading the message of peace and promoting dialogue among religions and civilisations.
