His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, has affirmed that the kingdom’s approach to strengthening national cohesion and reinforcing the values of responsibility forms the foundation for preserving national achievements and ensuring the kingdom’s security and stability.
He noted that these efforts, in line with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, also support Bahrain’s comprehensive development amid ongoing regional challenges.
This came as HRH Prince Salman visited the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) General Command yesterday. He was accompanied by Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He was received upon arrival by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, BDF Chief of Staff Lt Gen Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, and several senior officials.
HRH Prince Salman expressed pride in the efforts of BDF personnel and their vital role in safeguarding the kingdom’s security against hostile Iranian aggression that targeted civilian infrastructure and private property.
He emphasised the importance of continuing to enhance the readiness of the armed forces through ongoing development and modernisation, in line with the royal vision to support Bahrain’s continued progress and contribute to regional security and stability alongside allied nations.
HRH Prince Salman was briefed on the BDF’s strategic plans and programmes and commended the dedication and continuous efforts of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa in advancing the BDF and strengthening its standing since its establishment.
HRH Prince Salman extended his appreciation to all BDF personnel for their steadfast efforts and sacrifices in service of the kingdom, noting that their commitment and loyalty are a source of pride for Bahrain and reflect the values of patriotism and responsibility. He wished BDF personnel continued success in serving the kingdom and safeguarding its stability.
Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa expressed gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s continued support for the BDF and its personnel, affirming the force’s commitment to carrying out its national duties in service of the kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
He also reaffirmed the loyalty of BDF personnel to the King and their commitment to protecting the kingdom and preserving its security and stability.
