“In my latest book, Take Me to Your Leader, I actually explore what’s possible in this universe,” Neil said in an interview.

The American author and science communicator is best known for making complex cosmic concepts accessible to the public. He is the host of the TV series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey and the popular podcast/radio show StarTalk, and director of the Hayden Planetarium – an immersive theatre experience based on authentic data from a number of trusted space agencies including NASA, located in the American Museum of Natural History.
He served on the 2001 government commission on the future of the US aerospace industry, and on the 2004 Moon, Mars and Beyond commission on the Implementation of United States Space Exploration Policy for which he was awarded the NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal in the same year.
