Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received members of the ministry’s Haj mission ahead of their departure to perform the pilgrimage. Gen Shaikh Rashid reviewed all procedures and facilities related to their travel and enabling them to perform Haj rituals.
He emphasised the importance of providing the mission’s needs and requirements, particularly the necessary medical care, to ensure they perform the rituals with ease.
The minister affirmed the ministry’s keenness to send a group of its affiliates every year to perform Haj.
Deputy Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel; Chief of Police Lieutenant-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan and Interior Ministry Under-Secretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa were present.
