A man has been sentenced to five years in prison for photographing vital facilities during Iranian aggression, according to the Public Prosecution.
The Lower Criminal Court today (May 21) convicted the defendant of filming sensitive locations, in violation of existing prohibitions.
Acting on a report from the Interior Ministry, prosecutors questioned the suspect, ordered his arrest, interviewed witnesses and assigned experts to examine his electronic devices.
In a statement, the Public Prosecution stressed that locations with strategic importance must be protected, and that sharing information, clips or data related to them could harm national security, and expose the person sharing them to legal accountability.
