The Bahrain Garden Club recently celebrated World Bee Day with an educational lecture for club members and guests. The session, staged at Safeya Ali Kanoo Hub in Tubli, focused on the enormous impact bees and other pollinators have on our ecosystem.
Executive board member Irina Averinos delivered the lecture.
The programme concluded with a question-and-answer session and honey tasting.
Attendees also enjoyed home-made honey cake with tea and coffee. Flower seeds and bookmarks were distributed to all participants.
