Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received Cypriot Ambassador Dr Andreas Iliades.
The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that relations between Bahrain and Cyprus continue to develop across various domains.
He highlighted the notable progress in diplomatic engagement between the two countries, reflecting their deep long-standing friendship.
He also commended the level of co-ordination and mutual support in international forums, reiterating Bahrain’s support for all efforts aimed at reinforcing security, stability and peace in the region.
Shaikh Khalid wished the ambassador success in carrying out his diplomatic duties in a manner that contributes to further strengthening bilateral co-operation.
