A leading car dealer in Bahrain has been honoured at one of the world’s largest automotive exhibitions which brought together representatives and leading industry figures from across the globe.
Chery Bahrain, operating under The Bahraini Asian Motors WLL by Motorcity banner, received two prestigious awards at Auto China 2026, recently held in Beijing.
They were awarded the Outstanding Sales Performance Award 2026 and the Best Co-operation Award, reflecting the team’s ‘commitment to excellence’ across Chery’s global network.
Alongside the awards ceremony, Chery showcased its latest car models and upcoming technologies, offering a glimpse into the marque’s future direction.
The event was attended by Motorcity managing director Talal Kanoo and Motorcity dealer principal Abdulelah Burashid. Other notable attendees included ICAUR Bahrain country director Kevin Ma and Motorcity marketing manager Suaid Mulla.
“Receiving these two awards on a global stage is a testament to the dedication of our entire team,” said Mr Burashid.
“We were proud to represent Bahrain at the show in Beijing and to be acknowledged by Chery globally for our sales performance and the strength of our partnership.”
