Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani affirmed the keenness of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and with the support and guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and through its presidency of the GCC, to consolidate co-operation and enhance strategic partnership among the GCC countries.
The minister extended his congratulations to His Majesty and the leaders of the GCC countries on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the founding of the council.
The minister praised the wise approach of the GCC countries in confronting the treacherous Iranian attacks that targeted their sovereignty, security, and stability, and overcoming their repercussions.
He emphasised the solidarity of the GCC countries in confronting the aggressive Iranian attacks and threats, thwarting their terrorist plots, and their vigilance in dismantling espionage and terrorist cells and extremist organisations.
The minister affirmed that Bahrain, in close co-ordination with its brothers in the GCC and international partners, will continue its efforts to resolve regional and international disputes peacefully.
