Bahraini pilgrims have been transferred safely to Arafat by the Bahrain Haj Mission, as part of a comprehensive field plan prepared in co-ordination with Bahraini Haj tour operators and authorities in Saudi Arabia, to ensure that they can perform their rituals with ease. Mission head Shaikh Adnan Al Qattan said that the operation was carried out according to approved schedules and designated routes. Transportation was organised in stages, contributing to the ‘efficient management’ of crowd movement.
Shaikh Al Qattan stated that the mission’s field committees had been deployed since the early hours of the day to oversee the movement of pilgrims and provide support and guidance throughout the process. He added that the plan took into account the distribution of departure times and transport routes, which enhanced the smooth flow of movement between holy sites. Left, pilgrims arriving in Arafat.
