BASKETBALL – AL Najma and Sitra set up last night a title-deciding clash in this season’s Bahrain Under-21 Basketball League.
Najma advanced to the final after defeating Muharraq 94-89 yesterday at the Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) Arena in Um Al Hassam Sports Complex.
Sitra then followed suit with a 72-62 victory over Al Ahli at the same venue.
The championship game is scheduled to take place at the BBA Arena on Sunday. It is scheduled for a 7pm tip-off.
Meanwhile, prior to that contest, the final of the Khalid bin Hamad Golden Generation Under-18 Basketball League will be held on Friday at the same facility.
It will be played between Manama and Ahli, with the game slated for a 7pm start.
Manama booked their place in the final after beating Muharraq 72-65, while Ahli edged past Sitra 75-73.
