Americans have grown weary of the Iran war, especially since fuel prices jumped 50 per cent, worsening the financial strain they already faced courtesy of US President Donald Trump’s fiscal policies, such as import tariffs.
A recent poll by Fox News – let’s not forget that this is a pro-Trump, pro-Republican network – makes for devastating reading.
Of more than a thousand registered voters polled, 60pc oppose his war on Iran, 91pc blame the war on soaring fuel prices, 71pc disapprove of his handling of the economy and overall, 61pc disapprove of his entire presidency.
