Civil Defence teams rescued five children this morning after a fire broke out in a house in Aali.
Details indicate that as soon as the Main Operations Room received a case from one of the children, aged 16, stating that the fire had broken out while they were alone inside the house and their parents were outside, the children were provided with the necessary instructions by phone to move to a safe location until the arrival of Civil Defence teams, which rescued them. They were all in good health.
The General Directorate of Civil Defence added that the fire was caused by electricity overload in a clothes dryer, which caused the dryer to catch fire and damage the house.
