Bahraini pilgrims departing early from Haj performed the Farewell Tawaf at the Grand Mosque yesterday, marking the conclusion of their pilgrimage rituals as the first batch of pilgrims prepares to return to the kingdom today.
The Grand Mosque witnessed heavy crowds of worshippers from various nationalities.
The Bahraini pilgrims expressed appreciation for the support and care they received throughout the pilgrimage.
They affirmed that the efficient organisation and services provided enabled them to perform their rituals with ease and comfort.
Bahrain Haj Mission secretary general Khaled Al Mawlood said that mission teams intensified their on-site presence at the holy sites during the Days of Tashreeq through inspection visits to Haj campaigns, checking on pilgrims’ needs, and ensuring smooth transportation and healthcare services, particularly in Mina and at the Jamarat facility.
He added that pilgrims completed their rituals in an organised manner, with early-departing pilgrims leaving after completing the stoning ritual and performing the Farewell Tawaf according to precise movement plans, in preparation for their return to Bahrain.
