Bahrain’s musical heritage showcased
The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca) staged a musical folk night on Friday at the Cultural Hall. The event, organised in conjuction with Eid Al Adha, featured the Dar Al Budaiya Al Janoubiya Band, which performed a selection of traditional songs, bringing alive Bahrain’s rich heritage. Attendees enjoyed some of Bahrain’s most celebrated melodies, characterised by distinctive rhythms that reflect the kingdom’s maritime, social and cultural history.
