Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) staged the grand finale of its annual cultural programme, Devji BKS GCC Kalotsavam 2026, yesterday, marking the end of the festival. The glittering event, held at its premises in Segaiya, featured Indian Ambassador Vinod Jacob as chief guest and included an award ceremony for winners of individual and group competitions. Around 800 participants across age groups took part in this year’s edition. In a first, Kalotsavam introduced the Special GCC Championship award this year, which was presented to Iris Elma Liju from Saudi Arabia. Gayathri Sudheer was crowned Kalathilakam, Samvruth Satheesh won the Kalaprathibha title, and Nehal Nibin was named Balathilakam.
