Education Minister Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma conducted an inspection visit to centres administering the English language proficiency assessment (APTIS) as part of the final stage of evaluations for admission to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) in government schools.
The minister met the students and parents, as well as members of the educational and administrative teams overseeing the assessment process.
A total of 559 students qualified for the final stage of evaluations, which involved more than 3,000 students from all intermediate schools across Bahrain.
