German Ambassador Henning Simon visited the Bahrain Bay office of Hannover ReTakaful to meet with senior management and review the company’s operations.
During the visit, the ambassador received a presentation detailing the company’s contributions to the local insurance and reinsurance sectors, as well as its strategic role within Bahrain’s broader financial services industry.
The visit coincides with a dual milestone in 2026, marking the 60th anniversary of Hannover Re, the 20th anniversary of ReTakaful, and its two decades of operations in Bahrain.
During the visit, Mr Simon said: “German companies like Hannover ReTakaful continue to contribute to Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 by supporting innovation, developing local talent, and creating opportunities that empower the next generation of professionals.”
