The Works and the Housing and Urban Planning ministries handed over a new batch of housing units in Hidd Housing City after completing technical and engineering works to repair the damage.
This was in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad and the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to compensate citizens affected by the Iranian attacks that damaged a number of homes and vehicles.
Homeowners expressed their appreciation for the directives of His Majesty and the order of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
They also praised the efforts of the ministries and relevant authorities in completing the repair works, noting that the swift response and implementation reflected an integrated institutional approach that places the safety and needs of citizens among its highest priorities.
The homeowners said the maintenance and repair works were completed within a short period and to a high standard.
They added that the works included repairing structural damage, restoring interior and exterior finishes, and rehabilitating affected facilities, enabling the homes to be returned to their normal condition.
