Bahrain’s Ambassador to Türkiye Bassam Marzouq took part in the Fifth Turkish Maritime Summit, which was held under the auspices of the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in Istanbul. The summit, which coincides with the centenary of Turkish coastal transport, was opened by Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu. The summit awards ceremony was held under the patronage of Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz. Strategic issues related to the future of maritime transport, including the digital transformation of ports, use of artificial intelligence applications, smart ports and security and safety of maritime navigation were discussed.
