HIS Majesty King Hamad’s humanitarian work and youth affairs representative, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman, and Bahrain Royal Endurance Team captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa underwent successful surgery, he posted on social media.
The famous sportsman shared a photograph yesterday of himself recovering in hospital.
He stated that his medical procedure was done, and added: “This is only a temporary setback for a major comeback.
“Recovery starts today, and I promise I’ll be back stronger, fitter, and more determined than ever.”
Shaikh Nasser had suffered an injury on Saturday while competing in the Samorin International Endurance Race in Slovakia.
Captaining the Royal Endurance Team, Shaikh Nasser started the meeting’s 160-kilometre international ride, but was unable to finish due to the injury.
