The Interior Ministry has announced an amendment to the maritime ban period for users of fishing and leisure vessels.
The move is part of the measures taken to protect coasts, enhance maritime safety, and preserve the safety of fishermen and seafarers.
The ban will now begin at 6.30pm and continue until 4am starting today, and will remain in effect until further notice.
The measure is also part of the procedures and resolutions governing maritime traffic and efforts to enhance readiness and preserve the security and safety of sea-goers.
The Interior Ministry called on all sea-goers to comply with the maritime ban timings and avoid approaching the coasts during this period to ensure their safety and avoid legal accountability.
