Deputy Chief of Police Major General Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa chaired the Bahraini side in the seventh meeting of the Security Committee Working Team affiliated with the Security Co-ordination Committee under the Bahraini-Saudi Co-ordination Council.
The Saudi side was chaired by Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Issa, Director General of Legal Affairs and International Co-operation at the Ministry of Interior.
The Deputy Chief of Police emphasised the importance of continuing to enhance security co-operation and co-ordination between the two countries, reflecting their longstanding relations. He noted that this contributes to developing joint security work and exchanging expertise, as part of efforts to achieve common interests and maintain security and stability.
The meeting reviewed the progress of the Security Committee’s work and initiatives, as well as the achievements made. It also discussed agenda items to enhance joint security co-operation and keep pace with security developments and challenges.
