HORSERACING – Victorious Forever horse Coat of Red won the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes, held at Leicester Racecourse in England.
The two-year-old filly, trained by Simon and Ed Crisford, powered to first place in the six-furlong event with jockey David Probert in the saddle.
Coat of Red put in a fine performance to win by two-and-a-half lengths from runner-up Fairy Well, competing for PW Harris, Jane Chapple-Hyam, and Kevin Stott.
In third place was Sioux Moon, racing for owner Miss AC Bamford, trainer Charlie Fellowes and jockey Stevie Donohoe.
Coat of Red’s triumph continued the outstanding results this European horseracing season for the Victorious Forever stable, owned by His Majesty King Hamad’s humanitarian work and youth affairs representative, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman, and Bahrain Royal Endurance Team captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
