Oman has introduced temporary purchase limits at petrol stations located within 50 kilometres of its border crossings.
The restriction was implemented to address depleting fuel stocks caused by heavy cross-border demand.
Drivers at affected stations will be limited to a maximum purchase of 30 litres per transaction.
The National Subsidy Committee confirmed that the measure is temporary and will not apply to petrol stations across the rest of the country.
