His Majesty King Hamad’s humanitarian work and youth affairs representative, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman, and Bahrain Royal Endurance Team captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa announced yesterday that he is back to participating in sports activities after recovering from an injury he suffered last month while competing in the Samorin International Endurance Race in Slovakia.
“Four weeks ago, I underwent surgery; today, I’m back in the saddle,” Shaikh Nasser wrote in a post on his official social media account, published along with a series of photos riding on his horse as well as playing golf.
“This isn’t about rushing the process; it’s about respecting it,” Shaikh Nasser’s post continued.
“Discipline, consistency, and trusting the recovery protocol every single day made all the difference.”
“Every rehab session, every hour of recovery, every small decision mattered.”
“I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me throughout this journey. It’s good to be back doing what I love.”
