An Abu Dhabi civil court has ordered a man to pay AED 10,000 (approx. BD 1,000) in compensation to a health centre employee after he hurled insults at her during an argument over service fees.
The man reportedly raised his voice and yelled at the staff member before using degrading language towards her.
The employee launched legal action, claiming AED 51,000 (BD 5,100) in damages. However, following deliberations, the court awarded her AED 10,000 to cover the moral and emotional harm caused by the incident.
