VOLLEYBALL – Jordan’s youth men’s volleyball national team have arrived in the kingdom to conduct their final training camp ahead of the second Arab Youth Volleyball Championship, which gets underway on Sunday.
The under-17 tournament, organised by the Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA) in co-ordination with the Arab Volleyball Association (AVA), will be played at Isa Bin Rashid Volleyball Arena at Isa Sports City in Riffa.
The single round-robin competition features six youth men’s national teams, including defending champions Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, and hosts Bahrain.
The Jordanians were the first participating squad from overseas to reach the kingdom.
They were received upon their arrival at the airport by BVA officials.
