A lifeguard at Al Seef Beach in southern Jeddah was captured on video springing into action to save a child drowning just metres behind his parents.
Footage shows the lifeguard dashing into the water after spotting the struggling child, lifting him to safety, and handing him back to his parents, averting a potential tragedy.
