The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Department of Emergency Police in the Traffic Sector, announced a comprehensive and intensive security campaign in Farwaniya and Khaitan areas, as part of ongoing efforts to apprehend wanted individuals and violators, and to enhance security and public safety.
In a press statement Sunday, the Ministry stated that security teams were deployed along several main roads in the two areas to ensure comprehensive security and traffic coverage and to increase the level of field presence.
The campaign resulted in the arrest of 64 individuals wanted in connection with criminal cases, absconding, and outstanding warrants, 47 individuals for expired residency permits, and 4 individuals without identification, as well as the issuance of 407 various traffic violations.
The Ministry explained that these campaigns are an extension of its comprehensive security plans, aimed at achieving the highest levels of safety and security for citizens and residents.
