His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, today met with Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik, National Security Adviser (NSA) and Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan, at Riffa Palace.
HRH Prince Salman affirmed the depth of the bilateral relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, which continue to strengthen due to a shared commitment to furthering ties and achieving common goals.
He emphasised the importance of continuing efforts to deepen joint co-ordination across various fields, contributing to the mutual prosperity and growth of both countries and their peoples.
During the meeting, ways to enhance co-operation were discussed, along with the latest regional and international developments and matters of mutual interest.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted Pakistan's critical role, alongside its allies, in strengthening the foundations of regional security and stability.
For his part, Lt Gen Malik expressed his gratitude to HRH Prince Salman for his commitment to further develop Bahraini-Pakistani relations and wished the kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
Prime Minister's Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Deputy Interior Minister Lieutenant General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, and Deputy National Security Adviser Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
