Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), Marriott Bonvoy and Visa have launched two co-branded credit cards in the UAE, targeting travellers seeking rewards and premium lifestyle benefits.
The new
Marriott Bonvoy ADIB Visa Infinite and Visa Signature cards allow customers to
earn Marriott Bonvoy points on qualifying everyday spending, which can be
redeemed for hotel stays, room upgrades, dining and experiences across Marriott
Bonvoy’s portfolio of more than 30 brands and 10,000 destinations worldwide.
Points can
also be transferred to more than 40 airline partners or used for experiences
through Marriott Bonvoy Moments.
The
partnership combines ADIB’s Sharia-compliant banking expertise with Marriott
Bonvoy’s global hospitality network and Visa’s digital payments capabilities.
As part of
a limited-time offer, Infinite cardholders can earn up to 200,000 Marriott
Bonvoy points and fast-track their status from Gold Elite to Platinum Elite.
Signature
cardholders receive 50,000 points upon activation and Silver Elite status.
Both cards
provide Marriott Bonvoy Elite benefits, including priority late checkout and
enhanced room upgrades, subject to availability. Additional privileges include
airport lounge access, dining offers and other travel and lifestyle benefits.
Amit Malhotra, Global Head of Retail Banking at ADIB,
commented: “This partnership represents a significant step in enhancing how we
reward our customers and connect with their lifestyle aspirations. By combining
ADIB’s leadership in Islamic finance with Marriott Bonvoy’s world-class
hospitality programme and Visa’s payment technology leadership, we are creating
meaningful value that extends beyond banking and reflects our vision to be a
trusted partner in every aspect of our customers’ lives.”
