BASKETBALL – Bahrain’s youth men’s basketball national team star Hassan Abdulkadir is making his presence felt in the Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Next Up 2026 camp, currently being held in Istanbul, Türkiye and organised by the National Basketball Association (NBA) and Federation Internationale de Basketball (Fiba) in cooperation with the Turkish Basketball Federation.
This year’s event is set to take place until tomorrow, with Abdulkadir a part of an 80-strong group of the world’s top up-and-coming basketball talents.
The programme includes physical tests, skills development training, 3x3 and five-on-five basketball competitions, and life skills workshops – all led by a select group of current and former NBA and Fiba players and coaches, including superstars Vlade Divac, Danilo Gallinari, Brook Lopez, and Khris Middleton, among others.
