Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) will host the 93rd edition of the UFI Global Congress from November 2 to 5, marking a landmark achievement for the kingdom’s business events sector.
Organised by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), the premier event is being held in Bahrain for the first time, underscoring the kingdom’s rising stature as a regional hub for major international conventions and trade shows.
Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority chief executive officer and EWB chairperson Sara Buhiji highlighted the significance of the event.
“Hosting the UFI Global Congress for the first time is a defining moment for Bahrain and a reflection of the kingdom’s growing position within the global business events industry,” Ms Buhiji said.
“We look forward to welcoming our international colleagues to experience the world-class congress alongside Bahrain’s renowned hospitality, strategic location, rich cultural heritage, and ambitious vision for the future of exhibitions and business tourism.”
She noted that the congress serves as a vital vehicle for fostering international ties and exploring regional opportunities.
