HANDBALL – BAHRAIN Olympic Committee (BOC) board member and Bahrain Handball Federation president Ali Issa Eshaqi extended his warmest congratulations last night to His Majesty King Hamad and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the qualification of the kingdom’s youth men’s handball national team for next year’s 12th IHF Men’s Youth Handball World Championship.
Eshaqi emphasised that Bahrain has qualified all their handball national teams to their respective worlds this year, making the BHF the only federation in Asia to achieve this feat – as a result of the generous patronage of the wise leadership and its direct attention to Bahraini youth, which has enabled them to attain the best sporting results at the continental level.
Eshaqi congratulated His Majesty King Hamad’s humanitarian works and youth affairs representative and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, along with SCYS first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman, and BOC president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on the achievements made by Bahrain handball, highlighting their continuous support for Bahraini sports and handball in particular.
Eshaqi praised the efforts of the youth nationals’ technical and administrative staff and their achievement in obtaining a qualification card for the youth worlds.
